Evaluating clients intellectual property rights and providing guidance on the protection and exploitation of their IP rights; assuring their business complies with legal requirements and managing both internal and external legal resources.
Overseeing all the files and programs of the clients that have been assigned, ensuring Company standards are maintained at all time.
Providing legal assistance within the GH team, working with our lawyers to draft complaints, prepare memos, warning letters and various other legal documents.
Assisting partners in preparation of meetings with clients and other general day to day tasks.
Examining materials, such as publications, law revisions, case study etc. to provide proactive advice to the company.
Co-ordinating with collaboration lawyers from other countries, manage cases overseas.
Preparing and overseeing billing for the clients assigned.
Training and supervising legal assistants.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree or above in law with bar exam certificate or a dual degree for English & Law.
Minimum 2 years’ experience within the IP field, preferably in International Law firms or reputed PRC IP firm.
Excellent legal analysis and reasoning, superior analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and interpersonal relation skill.
Ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner with all office personnel, clients, and officials.
Ability to prioritize goals and to schedule the working day accordingly.
Excellent attention to detail, proactive and team player.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the firm’s business and client development strategies, sourcing and analyzing market data to identify trends and opportunities.
Developing and implementing new business development campaigns and initiatives, such as China Inbound / China Outbound.
Developing key marketing materials and monitoring and updating website information.
Coordinating sector meetings, including the development of meeting agendas and minutes, and following up agreed actions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree or above, ideally in Marketing, Business, Economics, Commerce, Law, though with relevant experience other disciplines are acceptable.
More than 2 years’ experience in professional services business development / corporate business development experience / business-to-business business development.
Ability to produce high quality written communications.
Excellent attention to detail, proactive and team player.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing cases and client matters, including drafting legal memos, drafting and reviewing contracts.
Providing legal support for strategic investment plan in China including, but not limited to, company structure, creation of new legal entities, potential joint venture projects, M&A, office openings, closings and restructuring.
Qualifications:
Law degree or above with excellent knowledge of PRC corporate and contract law. PRC bar certification is preferred.
Excellent command of English and Chinese (both written and spoken).
More than 2 years of experience in corporate, commercial and labor and employment counseling with solid English drafting skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting IP Counsel in conducting trademark searches and preparing search reports.
Handling paper work in connection with trademark search, filing, opposition, review, cancellation, license, assignment, trademark litigation and other relevant matters.
Translating documents from English to Chinese and vice versa.
Maintaining and updating paper files as well as electronic files.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or above in Law or a dual degree for English & Law.
More than 1 year working experience in a reputed PRC IP firm handling trademark applications as well as other trademark matters.
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
Proactive, solution-oriented approach to work and team interaction.
